Making it easier to communicate smarter about financial services.

Does your content address your potential customers’ problems or opportunities?

Websites are often riddled with owners’ accomplishments. But your potential customer wants to know ‘What’s in it for me?’ If you don’t answer that fast, they’ll likely find someone who will.

Does your content deliver a unique value proposition?

You have only a few seconds to grab potential customers’ attention. How is your product or service different from your competitors? Do you focus on your company’s product/service benefits rather than talking about their features? Is your value proposition strong enough to spark an introductory phone call, Zoom meeting, or in-person get together?

Do you update your content regularly?

Few potential customers care to read a dated or lengthy article. Make sure you showcase recent pieces that demonstrate how you think. They need to be concise, insightful, relevant, and engaging.

Is your content clear and understandable?

Potential customers won’t waste time sifting through jargon and buzzwords. Make your content useful by offering insights, directional solutions, or opportunity paths.

 Is your content written well?

You have just one chance to make a good first impression. Grammar and punctuation errors signal sloppiness (and indicate your product could do the same).

Are you using B2B social media to let people know about your content and encourage them to engage with it and even share it (likes, shares, retweets, etc.)?

The greatest content on earth will not do you any good if it is not seen. Are you using your personal business and company LinkededIn, Twitter, and even Instagram to help get your content out there and read?

Do you have a call to action?

Make it easy and convenient for potential customers to get in touch with you. Provide a telephone number and email address.

If you answered ‘no’ to any of these questions, your content likely needs a makeover so it will deliver the results you want: new customers that will help grow your company.
